Acrylic on canvas
31 × 61cm

I started involving in Bear Cottage this year, the children’s hospice in Manly, Sydney and help organising the art program for the children and their families. It is a place where children with terminal illnesses and their families can stay from time to time and receive rest and medical care in a home-like environment.
I look at our life somehow differently.

there’s really something special about it: beautifully portrayed hands, the light, the colour… i wonder if it was meant to be a ‘sad’ picture, but it somehow produces some nice warm glow inside. thank you

  • Thank you so much for your comment, kseniada.
One hand is sad and tired hand and the other hand is strong.
He gently squeezes her hand and she can feel the warmth of his hand….
