I was reading Paulo Coelho’s “The Alchemist”.
He wrote in the introduction of the book -
“When we first begin fighting for our dream, we have no experience and make many mistakes. The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.”

aw, such a positive message midori, i haven’t heard this before (although i have read “The Alchemist” and loved it….so i must have :D but couldn’t recall…...life is like one big circle with little deviations here and there….we end up with the same person (ourselves) and the same problems to solve…..it’s all a matter of how we solve them, and move on from the outcomes…..fascinating reading that book!!

It may be a newer edition.
When I read in Japanese, it didn’t have the introduction.
This book has extra bits, like insights, interviews and more in it.
hehehe.. I haven’t finish reading it in English yet.

I read it in Japanese and I loved it.
So I got it in English for my daughter.
I began reading yesterday but I stopped at the introduction because I really wanted to do this Tshirt design asap.
I like this Old Japanese Saying and he said the same thing!!
