I did a lot of sketches on A1 paper at the life drawing class.
They only give you 3, 5 or 7 mins for each pose.
This painting was done at home using one of my sketches.

awwww…. something about this piece feels sad.. i love the textures on her back and the way you paint the greens around her.. i can see myself there.. just that i’d prolly take up the whole canvas space and still not fit.. eheh.. but yea.. i so love the textures on this piece, Midori!! one of my big fav from your piece! =D

Simply a superb piece. There is an aura about this…the texturing on her back makes me think of unhappy things…memories she’s perhaps rather not remembers. Such an emotional image…stunning work.
