    i love the figure only lit by the moonlight….it seems a sad and meloncholic theme, the full moon on the red rose…the red reminds me of a flame that flickers still….

    Sometimes the moon and the darkness are the only witnesses to our loss. Perhaps they cry with us in some way. Perhaps, even while we may not cry, they shall cry on our behalf.

    I think of similar things when it rains.

    For myself, he pays his respects to the dead. He is bowed in reverence, in respect. He does not play for himself, but as a tribute.

    No features on his face – therefore, he can be anyone. He can be everyone. Reminds me of the mask of “V” in “V for Vendetta” Everyone and anyone. Yet also no one.

    A beautiful piece. Must explore more.
