A Blue Moon rose growing in our garden in the North-East of England in the summer of 2011. Despite its name the Blue Moon rose is never truly blue, but rather a delicate lavender. The exact shade depends very much on the amount of sunlight received and the composition of the soil. Captured with my Canon PowerShot S3 IS camera in macro mode.
