My name is Michael Reimann, and I have been doing photography since 2003. I live in Louisiana with my beautiful wife Cindy.
First and foremost, I give God the Glory for the “eyes” that He has given me. His hand is at work in all things, and the beauty of His handiwork is everywhere. It is my hope to convey that beauty in my photography and artwork.
What sets my photos apart, I think, is that I use a point and shoot camera. I use the Nikon Coolpix 7600. I have however started using the Nikon D60 in dec. of ’09.
I was a semi-finalist (top 660) in 2 categories of the 2008 National Geographic International Photo contest. I have also received honarable mention in the Creepy Crawly category of a contes at DP Magazine. I have won several 1st place prizes at Competico.
I believe there is inherent beauty in all that we see, and it is my goal to capture that beauty in my photographs.
