The Death of the Little Prince

The Death of the Little Prince

Inspired by the book “The little Prince”

No,I didn’t start painting but one of my friend realy influenced me for that macro picture of an icestick .The icestick was frosted on the rocs in the woods, the reason for those beautiful colors.I just add a bit of saturation to put up the beautiful blue because I think it’s his favorite color.
For my bubbler’s friend Nigel.. Kafka a man who loves «Le petit Prince» as much as I do….....
«It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;what is essential is invisible to the eyes»
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry…..

I see in that icestick a the little boy with a long white shirt ,the arms reaching to the sky with his head falling back, his legs are beginning to vanish….you know that moment when the snake bite him and went back to his planet …I clearly see the blue snake at his feet ….I know I know ...I have a lot of imagination but I realy see it …. :))))

.......Please take a look at Kafka’s work ,he a fantastic painter …x

My dear, I didn’t see this piece until now! Yes, I think “rotating” your images are an excellent idea for a “slow” person like me! :) I love the image and I didn’t have ANY idea you like “The Little Prince”! The relationship the little prince developed with the fox (the slow approach to establishing it and then the saying good-bye, saving forever in the heart the experience of a wonderful relationship, one’s inside eternally changed by it) has been how I introduce how psychotherapy truly “works” to new patients, especially to young children. Sometimes adults who have “lost” their “imaginative ways” thought of my approach to therapy “too poetic” but it is the reality of “real therapy” so I’m not changing…. Now I’m writing a book so I’ll stop!

LOVE the image, again, and the thoughts it provoked in me! You brought me a very happy new year with this! :) Happy New Year to you too my dear!

  • micmac replied

Hello ! Arshagra ,I try to look for your poem that was nominated and never found the site and I complitely forgot to get back at you …sorry …thanks for the visit …did you see the little prince in the ice …he has a white dress and his arms reach for the sky …you know ,it’s when the snake just bite him and he went back on his planet to see his rose …big kiss Gigi

The siplest thing….are th most sophisticated in reality.
    Macro…. world..
Getting nearer gives us the impression of blending with reality.
Ice…. colour… a permanent stress of the objects in collision with light.
You have had a very good idea..
    and now I can say..
Asbtraction is a name we give for things that are not “tangible” in our minds and for which we have no name.
You have given it a name…. a kind of substance…
But have left free the door of intuition, for getting farther thatn our own narrow intellect.
