now even when aging, her commitment remains as new as the rings on her finger are.

Definitely an emotive image. Our hands say so much; it is the gentleness of this hand that I like. I wonder how hard that hand worked over the years, the number of times it has touched someone in love. I want to reach out and touch my own Mums and my daughters all at the same time.
