Hands of Wisdom
Agathe had arthritis all over her poor body ,she couldn’t stand it .Sometimes she was just raging of pain .She passed away the 14 of april .I wasn’t there to say goodbye but I’m sure she knows her hands will finaly be on R.B.I asked her for some shots of her twisted fingers and she agreeded with such pleasure ,she asked me several times when I was going to do it .I went to see her just in time a week ago.She was so weak that she couldn’t hold to little butterfly.I felt so sad but at the same time I was happy that she used the rest of her strenth to do that shot she wanted so much. She was always on oxygene and stayed still all day long the last few weeks.I ‘m sure she’s not suffering anymore .By! Bye! Agathe…xx

I know it is hard. :o( (Hugs) Look at all the wonderful memories ( photos) you have of Maria. She is smiling down at you. Try and have a good night. Take Care.

excellent image along with a very sad story, you have a job that i feel i couldnt do, it would rip my heart out daily to watch these people go thru this and not have their family close by, at least they have you, a person with a lot of passion and love to give. im glad she is free of pain, it makes one wonder why life such a so called “prosperous” life, to only end up in this condition, she is in a better place and she did have a wonderful person to help her get there, beautiful shot Gisele
micmac replied
Inspite of all that she was always asking questions and wanted to know me,that work put down my ego and makes me realise how lucky I am …We don’t have much time to talk to them but I’m doing my best …thank you Chuck…x

Gigi, This is an amazing shot of twisted hands tortured by a crippling disease that most often afflicts the elderly. Your generous heart helped to set her free from the prison of pain that held her captive. Her hands reflect a gentle spirit enhanced by the delicate butterfly in her hand. What a profound testament to a brave soul captured by your tender and loving heart. It is the elderly that need us most, but sadly are ignored or placed in nursing homes to endure another pain, isolation and the agony of abandonment and loneliness. In many cultures the elderly are revered, not discarded and thrown away when they become an inconvenience. She was fortunate to have such a kind and loving soul to ease her pain.
micmac replied
After 17 years I saw a lot of visitors and I think that it’s getting better the last few years because of all the bad publicity on those care centers.I even thought about going private because I realy have to fight to be myself in my work ,not always easy …thank you Julie….x
