the morning always was the last to say goodbye today
you never really knew that time couldn’t stand still
your tried not to believe that dreams could walk away
and the air still feels the same but you only really care

when you don’t see your footsteps
makes it hard to know where you’ve been
they waited all night just for you to comprehend
and you just walk round instead

brining old tricks back to see if they still break the same
when you still breathe among us the water rises high
see they don’t understand that you’re too tired to explain
and the thoughts still feel the same but you’re trying hard to change

when you won’t see your footsteps
makes it hard to know where you’ve been
they waited all night just for you to comprehend
and you just walk round instead

    Stunning work there Michael,

The ghostly transition from the sea to shore is magic offset by the solo tree filling the top right and inviting the viewer to move through to the mountains in the background.

  • Thank you so much for that Steve, really glad you see how the shot moves, appreciate your comment very much

Great shot Mike. The last couple of nights have been beautiful. A bit smokey but that seems to add a nice effect to the light in this shot….almost tobacco hues. Great comp too mat.e

  • Thanks very much for that mate, yeah it has been smokey, my brother said it was pretty smokey down his way at Marion Bay, burning off somewhere im sure. Glad you like the shot James

The softest of brown tones compliment the smooth silky misty water perfectly. The nice rocky shoreline leads into the shot nicely, finishing off nicely at that tree.

  • Thanks you very much for your comment Stuart, really appreciate it mate and cheers for the fave :)
