took a step without intent and moved within your eye
turning chance with your thoughtful hands, this bright lit sign
oceans fill with your words so still, and swim close to me
he drinks her words that drowns the hurt, now wears this smile

close your eyes a moment longer
those dreams could come to life
walking through the calmest water
with hands that felt the night

i can’t stay awake…..your calling

beneath your river inside your dreams, a hand you know
it’s so quiet if your not round here, this candle burns low
she’s chasing where she belongs, her sky and her night
the cold that grew was their delight, a curing high

close your eyes a moment longer
those dreams could come to life
walking through the calmest water
with hands that felt the night

i can’t stay awake…..your calling

love the moody tones Michael….the trials and tribulations of us photographers…10/10 for the effort put in.

  • indeed Rob, I guess we would be lost without it though!

How vibrant the colours are on the rocks and plants. What would the best time to walk these places be?

  • I would say Early Autumn, when there is still plenty of light in the day, you will get the fagus bushes changing colour then too. You can camp donw there and get sunrise/sets.

Sorry your trip was a washout Michael – but that’s Tassie. Love that old Tassie adage “Don’t like the weather – wait a minute.” But nevertheless this is a gorgeous shot full of Tassie light magic and colour.

  • I do like that saying and so so true! Im happy i did get down to this spot and get this pic though! Thanks Geoff
