Really suits the b&w mate. Came out very well. You got better stars than i did too.

  • Thanks Baz, used topaz B&W, seemed to do the trick. Really need to have another go here :)

I think this one needs to be seen both from a distance and close up to be fully appreciated, Mick! I love that curve of the road under the tree and the placement of the chair within the frame… and that beautiful moon… it’s a fantastic shot!

  • Thanks Mieke, just a quick snap while walking back to car!
That is a star(bright one) not the moon, for some reason it had a halo around it due to atmosphere I guess. I doesn’t appear like this on all shots here, so maybe a cloud pasted by in the f/4 30sec exposure, dunno but it looked cool :) Processed in Topaz B&W effects, toning is “chrome” I think. You can download BW Topaz from their site.

i have all the topaz’es :) and i really love the B&W Effects one….. it worked very nicely with this shot !!! :)

  • Thanks Pene, yeah first time for Topaz B&W here, quite like Silver Efex Pro 2 and use it in some colour processing too.
