AN AUTUMN AFTERNOON IN A SMALL CEMETARY WEST OF FINDLAY, OHIO
I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THIS LITTLE CEMETARY. I KNOW THAT SOME OF THE STONES DATE BACK TO THE MID 19th CENTURY, AND I KNOW HOW BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL IT IS, AND THAT’S ENOUGH FOR ME.

Old cemeteries are particularly compelling in autumn – in every way; falling leaves, a little bluster, ghostly doings, long shadows. Very evocative, very nice indeed.
