TAKEN AT HALE FARM AND VILLAGE IN THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK BETWEEN CLEVELAND AND AKRON.
JONATHON HALE BUILT HIS FARM IN 1810 NEAR THE CUYAHOGA RIVER. TODAY IT IS A “LIVING MUSEUM” WHERE VISITORS CAN LEARN ABOUT FRONTIER LIFE IN OHIO. MANY BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO HALE’S FARMHOUSE AND RESTORED TO FORM THE VILLAGE AND PROVIDE A FASCINATING LOOK AT LIFE IN A RELATIVELY UNSETTLED AREA THAT HAD ONLY RECENTLY ATTAINED STATEHOOD.

Nicely captured and framed, we tend to get more golds and oranges then red due to intense cold which prevents all but the sturdiest trees from growing.

I like the sense of scale of the building in front of the hill.
