Ok, I know. It’s not May. But this is the Southern hemisphere here where I am, and it is Spring time all the same. Darling buds of September just doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it?

I seem to be a tad obsessed with miniaturizing my little ones… perhaps there is a subliminal longing to keep them as small as possible as long as possible? I don’t know, maybe it’s just because it’s really fun to do. As a child I loved stories like ‘The Borrowers’ and Charles Kingsley’s “Waterbabies” … The thought of little people was so fascinating. I wanted one!! A pet person to sit on my shoulder and talk to. I have ten now, totally worth it, only they’re not this small. : )

PS Mila’s birthday is in May, so maybe the title is perfect after all.
