In between cooking, shopping, doing laundry, washing dishes, changing nappies and schooling my children I sometimes find a spare moment to doodle, draw or photograph something or someone. Those are the moments that keep me going, even if they are few and far between. Food for the artist mom’s soul.

This is a fabulous portrait Micklyn- the irises matching the hair colour is brilliant, as is the short DOF. I’m surprised he stayed so still!!
Lol, thanks Ben! he did NOT stay still – for every one I have in focus I have ten that were blurry… in fact, the above is actually the combination of two exposures… when you work with such a busy body you have to improvise… ; )
