I’ve been thinking and reading about six word stories lately and while I was working on this portrait of my sixteen year old son, Joshua, I thought it deserved its own six word story title. Of course, a picture is worth a thousand words, so this is actually a one-thousand-and-six-word-story. With a happy ending. : )

In between cooking, shopping, doing laundry, washing dishes, changing nappies and schooling my children I sometimes find a spare moment to doodle, draw or photograph something or someone. Those are the moments that keep me going, even if they are few and far between. Food for the artist mom’s soul.

Your children are one and all gorgeously beautiful. Your title is GREAT and states it perfectly. Better than the “I hate you” glower any day! Love the lighting, too! Your children will be grateful for all the love you poured into this later in life—promise!
