This is the only other painting I did in December – a very non-serious exploration of colour and shape – for the sheer joy of working with oil paint again after all this time. : )
In between cooking, shopping, doing laundry, washing dishes, changing nappies and schooling my children I sometimes find a spare moment to doodle, draw or photograph something or someone. Those are the moments that keep me going, even if they are few and far between. Food for the artist mom’s soul.
