John Singer Sargent said that a portrait is a painting with something wrong with the mouth. I’ve always liked that quote. I’ve never done a portrait (drawing or painting) that didn’t feel a little off to me, in some way or other. Now, as I venture into digital painting, I find the same thing happening. I could have worked on this image for days & days longer than I have, but, well, enough. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to stop. : ) This is Mila, 6.
(I still have so so much to learn!)
