Wow…. I have to admit, you have become an insparation for me…. I have five children, and just started homeschooling my three oldest, I haven’t become entirely overwhelmed yet, but I am waiting for it to strike !! Then I read your little blurb about yourself, with 9 children, and ‘unschooling’ (is that much different than homeschooling, or just a different way of saying it?) and suddenly I felt, well, amazed….. And I figured that if you can do it with nine, and still have time to take such wonderful photos, I should be able to handle this with five kids….
Just had to share…. Thank you for being such a lovely insparation :)

Well that would make you a definite wonderwoman in my book!! 9 is easier than 5, that’s for sure. The oldest 5 are an incredible help with the younger 4, don’t know what I’d do with only 5 ( : And this week all my older kids are at a tennis camp which leaves me with all the little ones and no big helping hand (well, there’s Tane, who is 8) but that’s why we were out in the garden in the first place, because it seems I can’t get much done on my own with 5 kids, so decided to give up and play instead. How DO you do it??

First of all, this is such a beautiful and precious moment that Tane has captured….you can just FEEL the love and adoration. There is nothing more beautiful than the bond a mother has with her child :) Second, I am honoured that you mentioned my name. Time flies, doesn’t it? I have a 6, 8 and 11 year old…plus 13, 14 and 15 year olds on top of the 9 month, 2 and 4 year olds… I once heard a woman with lots of children say “the baby keeps growing and needing replacing!” I guess that’s how it’s been with me ( : Thanks for your kind comment, Lorraine!
