ghost christ

a picture of the statue of christ in Rio De Janiero, Brazil, taken from Sugar Loaf…the failing light and surrounding clouds makes it seem very mysterious.

Nice ethereal shot. When I was in Brazil in 1979, I met a couple of Israelis at the base of Corcovado. I asked them what they were doing there as it was a Christian statue. They said that they had heard that when the statue of Jesus clapped, the Brazilians went back to work!

    Cheers
