Johnnie grew to love his new friend.
Magically , he would appear every Tuesday night @ 7.00pm. He could set his watch to it.
He said his name was Caesar and he was a guardian angel. Immaculate suit, carnation in lapel and brogue shoes with a mirror-like sheen, Johnnie considered that if he was gay, Caesar would do it for him.
They discussed politics, art and culture in a free flowing debate. Johnnie became obsessed with Caesar.
Johnnie lived on the 15th floor of Building D at Docklands. Caesar had entered his life, appearing in his apartment at 7.00pm on the 6th November. Only once did Caesar show his wings to Johnnie. Caesar convinced Johnnie flying was easy, any clown could do it.
THey found Johnnies body in the ground floor pool of building D, Wednesday 19/12/2007. His left hand clutched what looked like feathers.
Strange that …....................................
my Icarus baby.................
Friends? Guardian angels? Do we really need them or not?
