sound relief

Drinking too much,
Living too much,
Saying too much,
Finding too much,
Knowing too much,
excusing too much,
allowing too much to happen.

google this – RAGING BULL, CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA

The pain tends to go away.

Trust me.

Apart from my medium format camera, for sixteen months I have been using a Large Format(4×5) camera – an Ebony RW45. (Google it)
A beautiful little timber view camera and ideal for carting around the city.

Early starts, long solitary hours and unlimited inspiration. Urban landsca…

I am not dead..............

Just a quick note to those who bother to read.
Im back with film in a way that is scratching the itch for me. You know what I mean.
I am amongst a series of b/w arch. abstract and in deep.

Apparently there is some sort of revival going on for film. I say bullshit. Just a marketing exercise to sell more gear is more like it…....

where am I at?

Posted about 1 year ago

My recent boredom with digital and a return to medium format film has left me a little winded so to speak.
Most ask me why and I cannot respond.

'war of the worlds' series

Posted about 1 year ago

At long last I have pulled together a 17 shot series that encapsulates how I feel about these monoliths. Strange how things draw you in isnt it. Cold mornings and nights abounded but I had it on my own.

PS Have bought a medium format film camera because Im bored a bit with digital at the moment. Life goes on.

Posted about 1 year ago

Been away for seven days touring Tassie, mainly in the SW. . Even caught up with the irrepressible STRINGER . In fact anyone who would talk to a mainlander in a public bar (they are suspicious of us). Got some good images but the weather was really variable.
Boags is good.

Like a moth to a flame I’m drawn to these new constructions. I wanted to give another perspective and let the new colours speak for thmselves. The starkness of the new work without cars yet is beautiful I think. Too soon they will be on it.

2008

Personally its been a big year. A shift of house, shift in work and a shift in government.
To all you like minded souls out there, renewal is fierce with me at the moment hope it is with you.
Best wishes, eat, drink and be merry. In that order or all at once. Good luck.
