The Portal!
Dont ask where these ideas come from, I dont really know. This one just jumped into my head while watching a movie last night. OK, the movie did have a severed head in a tumble dryer.

Funny as. I like the way your tongue looks like a fist about to punch something and the reflection of your face on the dryer. Is that the first time you have seen the dryer? You didn’t even know we had one did you. That’s why it scared you, he he.
Mick Smith replied
LOL, cheers hon, hey, I’ve seen it a few times thank you very much. Isnt it the laundry heating system?

Ted Byrne
See…. subtlety in art always trumps the flamboyant Mick.
Seriously folks… it is so d*&med hard to do humor in still image making and this is like slapstick! Raw physical humor. It’s not just the image or technique that rocks here… it’s the wifty power of the thing. Stunning work!!!!
Mick Smith replied
Whoa, thank you so much for those very kind words Ted. Its very much appreciated. I just wish I had these ideas more often lol.

Luke Hemer
seriously brilliant lighting, flash unit in the tub?
Mick Smith replied
Cheers Luke. Yes, 430EXII in the tub but I wanted to get those spots in the shot. When I pictured it in my head I saw spots of light shooting out but when I opened the dryer I realised that the holes I’d been thinking of were in the washing machine. SO, I got the vegetable steamer out and sat that on edge and shot the flash thru it. Its worked quite well.
Mick.
