Recital

A recital of music,
my sisters last concert of her course

Recital belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

I sat there silently
my breath barely making a mark in the air
I watched you proudly
you stood, so strong, so happy.

I listened attentively
the sounds wrapping fingers round my ears
I blinked slowly
The music vibrating from tone to tone.

I felt reverb
The lack of beat allowed the syncopation
I let my eyes dance
The movement of the days told audibly.

I relax visibly,
You played on, never faltering, never tiring.
I let my ears listen
You pause at the end to bow, and leave your stage.
