Took another trip to West Takone, past Yolla on the NW Coast to visit McGowans Falls. Found directions thanks to a fellow redbubbler. Took a couple of wrong turns but found the track. Headed quite deep into the forest on a pretty informal walking track marked by pink ribbons, over and under fallen down trees. Past many varieties of fungi. Approached the falls with caution, very slippery and steep. I took a few shots of the upper section, I wasn’t game enough to hang onto an overhanging branch to view the bottom as my husband did. Stopped at a few creek spots on the way back, a very pretty area.
Will be adding some pictures shortly:)
