On Friday I went for a short drive to the Guide Falls, West Ridgley, Tasmania. It is only about 5-10 minutes from my home. I have been waiting patiently for it to re-open after works were being completed to the walking track. It’s a very easy short stroll up the wide gravel walkway from the lower carpark, past quite a few drops and beside the gorgeous Guide River. You can park at the top and walk down a quite steep saircase to the main fall but I prefer the more scenic lower route. There are toilets and barbeques perfect for a quick bite to eat afterwards. I think I have produced my finest work to date here.
