This is a close-up digital photograph of my sculpture, Top Dog Phenomenon, 2006.
The sculpture is a life-size self-portrait figure done in woven barb wire, plaster, wood, paint, feathers, wig and cheesecloth. Epoxy and algenate were also used during construction.
This is a close-up of the small bird suspended inside the figure’s chest. The wingspan of the actual bird is 10 inches. This photo is 11×14 inches, 300 PPI.
