Yet another superseded building. On windy days you can hear the corrogated iron roof flapping in annoyance. A creaking, cranky old retiree!
What a gorgeous Elder!! What a marvelous find!!! I love finding stuff like this too!!
Thanks Craig. This is pne of the old shed on our farm. In the background it the old farm house which I have photographed.
We are thinking of selling so I have been taking a series of photos from the farm just in case we do. It is a difficult decision for my husband as it was his father’s farm, his father’s pride and joy.
This is the only time I have manipulated a photo and, as everyone knows, I have used the “turn it to black and white” button. Taking phots is fun but I will be keeping my day job.
“Whenever I walk to SuffernAlong the Erie track,I pass by an old farm housewith its shingles (ok, corrugated iron) broken and black.I suppose I’ve passed it a hundred timesbut I always stop for a minute and look at the house; the house with nobody in it.”
I love picture of old houses, buildings etc. Very nice capture.
This is fantastic You found a gem to capture. Brilliant
love these type of shots
Love the shadows. This is an excellent photograph.
Thanks to all for the positive comments. My kitchen window looks out upon this shed. It is filled with many unwanted and unused bits and pieces from the many decades of farming. I think one day soon I will venture down and take a look through it once again. It has been many years since I peered inside of it. I will be needing some sort of snakeproof clothing. And I know the spouse will try to stop me for fear of some sort of mishap.
