This 9″ × 12″ portrait of a Bullmastiff dog waiting patiently for his master to return was created in artist colour pencils on Stonehenge paper and took over 55 hours to complete.

This piece was awarded First Prize in the Painting & Drawings: Animals class at an Art Show that I entered.

    Awww. Poor doggy seems so sad that his master wasn’t home..
    It’s a great drawing, I love the fur and the pleading look in his eyes!

    Michelle it is funny how we twig on who painted what because I have always been able to for the most part know your work. I guess the internet plays a big roll in that when following artists work and learn so much about their styles. I don’t blame you not wanting to part with this drawing; you have captured that special look that I do see in my husbands working dogs when he leaves them home. Nice to see they cheer up when they see me though…chuckle!
