Thankyou everyone for the lovely comments, I really appreciate them! Life has been very hectic the last couple of months, but I am very pleased to announce that “Blink” was awarded First Place in the Drawing category in a local art show that I entered this weekend.

The original of this was created using artists colour pencils (Prismacolours and Derwents), but not watercolour pencils which I don’t use.

Michelle this is nothing shy of great!

I was going to try coloured pencil drawings myself but I think I might just leave it to true artists like you. It’s fantastic!

That’s incredible – so photographic, you must have a very steady hand to get those whiskers so perfect /purrfect – how do you get the marks so fine?
