Richard Serra at the Guggenheim by

this installation was enchanting – getting lost in a labyrinth…Richard Serra’s sculptures in bilbao were a revelation to me. the breathtaking installations, the sheer space-cutting size of the steel sheets, the spirals and mazes they made were just spellbinding. he will be at the Grand Palais and the MoMA with excess baggage.

A word of warning to fellow photographers, the swarms of security guards are so numerous that you almost have to be James Bond to take pictures inside the Bilbao Guggenheim.

I love his work, and you photographed it beautifully. Glad you got around the guards! A good place to see him and other great stuff (if you go north a bit) is in the new Seattle Sculpture Garden-there its outside, so no problem taking photos.
