Pete Costick
Superb image Shell! Amother example of less is more, so many would record the whole arch, showing maybe too much of the whole, but in cropping more tightly, you have far better captured the finer details and tones and how the uprights break into the curves of the arch. In B&W it works so well too. Excellent work Shelly, as usual making something special from a subject :)
Shelly Hiebert replied
The way you write all of that you would think I actually knew what I was doing hehehe! But seriously, I do try to look at things a bit differently sometimes. Pick only a piece of what makes the whole. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but it is always worth a try :) I really do appreciate all of your support and am glad you see so much in this Pete :) Thanks bud :)
