This is a small leaf emerging from my peace plant. I used my 105 mm Nikkor Macro lens for this. I bounced this lens off the pavement this past weekend which sickened me. It seems to be ok, thank goodness! It just has a few battle scars which I told a friend just makes it look well loved :)

    Fancy name !!
    If that leaf was perfectly straight, when you took the pic, I’d consider sending the macro in for repair. If it was curled like that then its probably alright. Hope you caught the lens on the first bounce. (Been there tooooo many times myself.)

    Oh crap! What are you saying Stan? Not sure if I understand you correctly. Not sure if I want to :( It unfortunately smacked around a few times and now I notice when I tip it back and forth it makes a clunking sound. I guess ignorance is not bliss in this case. I should maybe have it checked out. Thanks for the heads up Stan.

    Wow, I usually try to read all the comments but there are too many! :)
    I’m sure I won’t add anything new but what a wonderful image!! I love how you can’t quite tell what it is and how the middle glows, it’s very pretty.
    I’m so glad your lens is o.k.!!!! I’ve done that a couple of times and it just makes me sick. One time my lens was not o.k. and I had just gotten it, I was disgusted with myself!!! :    (
