    I like the crop. The gentle curve from Abi’s head to her shoulder along with her look make for a very pleasing portrait.
    Though I do have to say that it doesn’t pose a threat to Mesmerize – that is my clear favourite :-)

    When she grows up, Abi will have all these Wonderful photos of herself to share with her own family. What an amazing gift to receive from your mom!

    This one works for me, Shelly. The one eye looks past you, not at you, making you wonder what she sees. The fact the other eye is out of the frame adds a bit more intrigue and visual tension to the shot. Makes me wonder even more about what she’s looking at. It grabs my attention!!

    This is beautiful as always. The softness works really well here. I know how you love High Key, and I think you could do amazing things with the “Orton” effect. There is a goup called Amazing Orton Effect and it has tutorials in the forums if you want to try. It’s kind of a soft focus, glowing effect. Anyway, well done on another beautiful photo of your beautiful daughter.

    Shelly, you did it again!!! This is absolutely fabulous! Don’t mind your husband too much. I know that mine always seems reticent when he first sees any art I may produce (photo or jewellery), but then he gets used to the idea and he’s the first to brag about my creations to his friends. LOL!!

    Once again – Beautiful! (photo and subject!) I’m drawn to her eyes (even though there’s only one). I like the high key, there is nothing at all to detract from your daughter and her beauty. I think I like “Everything” even better – something about the angle is just so very nice.
