This is Great! – The DOF has got to be under 4mm and you’ve still got the iris sharp! – technically a lot tougher than it seems – the perspective of looking up really adds to the image!

Wow Shelly, this shot is amazing!!! The way you have captured in sharp focus that narrow dof to make the cornia’s spherical shape appear to magnify the detail on the iris and show the pupil so sharply (well that’s how I view it anyway).
How long did your poor daughter have to endure before you got this shot, was she the ever willing subject, or was some form of payment needed to procure her services :)

What an awefully nice comment Pete! Thank you :) And yes…my poor daughter! Staring into the light, lights pointed at her and flashing! Her eyes were watering so bad by the end she looked like a racoon from all the make up running! So the payment is some new makeup ;) Thanks again Pete :)

So beautiful, I love the translucence and softness of this whilst still maintaining the crisp detail of the eyelashes for example, realy great work Shelly
