It’s a beautiful portrait Shelly. I believe you have found the perfect balance between just enough focus in the eyes, and afetching angelic softness. As for the model, my 14 year-old son’s reaction is a great testimony. He came into my office as I was writing these lines, looked at the screen over my shoulder and said: “WOW! Who is she? Where does she live? How old is she?”

Such intense look in her eyes. Absolutely wicked portrait Shelly. Yup, wicked:)

Glad I could provide you with a mother and daughter moment of merriment. LOL! Just reading about your reaction made me laugh! Unfortunately, Phillip is not really photogenic and he hates being photographed. I was really lucky to get these two shots. The first one is a candid shot of my two sons, with Phillip in the foreground. and the second shot, I just uploaded for the occasion and it is one of my first portraits in natural light. I had a few of his friends talk to him to make him relax and forget the camera a bit while I was shooting away.

He’s a bright and sweet boy… most of the time anyway! ;-)
