I live to enjoy the beauty in everything!
A little over 25 years ago I decided that my dream was to become a photographer. There were so many great moments to capture that I knew I just had to learn how to freeze time by taking snapshots! I got my hands on my father’s 35mm camera from the 1970s and shot a few rolls of black and white film…
Fast forward to the late 1990s, when I was living in New York City. I happened to pass by the Sony Store on Madison Avenue and saw a digital camera in the window. I did a double take. Digital? As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it and went in and bought it there and then. That is how I got my start in digital photography.
I began taking my photos of NYC’s amazing sights, with focus on its wonderful streets, its interesting people and its impressive buildings. In early 2001 I moved back to New Jersey and concentrated my art on country landscapes, nature and flowers, as well as decayed and abandoned buildings and certain rock bands.
While I love taking pictures of people and have been photographing my friends and family most of my life, I have only fairly recently started into portrait photography. I have already worked with some wonderful customers and look forward to many more!
I also have an insider’s knowledge of what it is like on the other side of the lens as I very often model for Happiknits… So as you can see I have an intimate knowledge of both sides of the camera.
Thank you for viewing my profile and welcome to my little piece of Red Bubble. Feel free to browse or buy my prints and greeting cards! I’ve just recently offered my 2010 Calendar called “12 Months To Come”.
