“The Show Must Go On”

Lyrics:
“There must be some mistake,
I didnt mean to let them
Take away my soul.
Am I too old, is it too late?
Where’s the feeling gone?
Will I remember the songs?

The show must go on…"
(From the album- “The Wall”)

If only they could talk! Nice work.

  • Again, Thank you for taking the time to look and comment, I truly appreciate your kindness. This place is amazing!!! If I was the owner of this place I would realize I own a gold mine!! So many people are intrigued by this place, the people and their stories. Both patients and workers. To fix it up a bit or try to keep SOME structures for people to pay 20 bucks or whatever the fee would be to take a tour and photograph and hear stories of what happened in certain buildings, the history of them, patient and worker stories or even the reason why certain buildings were named. Like Kirkbride building. In many old asylums you will always find a structure named Kirkbride, after Dr. Thomas Story Kirkbride. He designed an administration building which would be shaped with two wings on each side to separate patients by sex and/or level of mental illness. Also the buildings are just simply GORGEOUS!
Sorry if that was a long reply, lol. I love history :)
I hope you have a fantastic day!!! ~Michele

Such a beautiful capture and place! Look up the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio—it, too, was dilapidated and scheduled to be torn down. It was revived by a grassroots organization who purchased it, and it is now a beacon in our city. Hopefully, someone will do this for Norwich.

  • Thank you and I def will check it out. I can only pray that someone will do this for Norwich……
