Olympus 35mm film camera all manual
wide angle lens-28mm Olympus manual focus

Here is a shot from the back row seats at the opera house. I love this picture because it gives the feel of how it must “have” been back when it was open and abundant with actors, lectures and an audience.

    Awesome capture Michele!
In my imagination, I can see the actors acting out the play for the patients…or maybe the patients are putting on a play for the staff… :-)

  • ty carol, iotally agree. i felt like that sitting in the row setting up my tripod. it is eerie but also beautiful!

Wow, I would love to go exploring here. Great photo! I can imagine it full of people. I recently looked up a current list of abandoned sanitariums/hospitals/haunted places that I hope to check out one day.
