Hot Water Beach, Coromandel Peninsular, North Island, New Zealand.
11/11/11 Just before Sunrise.
This is the area of beach where at low tide you can dig yourself a spa pool.
Hot water travels up through vents in the sand. You only need to dig half a meter down to get hot water, then a bucket to fill with sea water when it gets to hot.

  • Cheers donnz, yes lovely spot. Great time of the year to be up there, not many people around. Sea was still freezing though.
