Lake Rotorua, North Island New Zealand. Sunset
Mokoia Island Wildlife Sanctuary. (lump in the middle)
This island in the middle of the lake is also a volcanic plug.

Just fishing for a sunset, did nt look like it was going to be much. But I still got out of the truck and took a walk along the lake shore.
The sun was going down on the left, this was in the middle of the sky, streching above me.

I’d like to thank my polarizer.

Patience is the virtue and you have certainly caught the moment…Well done, both shots are stunning.

Quite an amazing shot…didn’t quite know what to make of it….seems almost unreal.

  • Photo shop played its part to bring it to life, but yes it does seem unreal.
