Your picture strikes me alternately as a glossy underworld fantasy scene or an all too real-seeming human slaughterhouse. The latter impression, for me, is from having lived in NY City for 20 and feeling like I was passing through a meat slicer when passing through those weird turnstiles. Your picture is great in its masterful, eerie ambivalence.

Thanx everyone for your nice comments, and for those who asked, yes it is HDR, but mad from a single raw file, so some may say it´s a fake…But I don´t give a sh..:-)

The end result, no matter how it is achieved, is exquisite. I love it when people who consider themselves self appointed elitists who believe they are entitled to judge any- and everyone who do something new or different. I don’t understand it, considering photography has been a constantly evolving art form since the beginning. At what point in time are we supposed to freeze an art form so anything done after that point is considered sacrilege? I am sure if Ansel Adams was alive today, he would be making use of ALL of the tools afforded him. Nice work.

Raw files by nature are already HDR due to the 12 bit files which can be post processed for highlights and shadows separately and then combined using HDR techniques. So no fake here! Nice job. I love the metallic coppery look you’ve achieved. Would be fantastic printed on metallic photo paper.
