This is Elabana Falls on the Box Forest Circuit which leads off the Main Border Track near O’Reilly’s Guesthouse in the Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia.

This waterfall is not visible from the track. You have to clamber up the rocks to see it.

I would like to thank the young lady with the lovely smile & good hiking shoes who helped me get my gear (camera, tripod & backpack with lunch & lots of water) up the rocks after I mentioned my crook shoulder.

beautiful fall. is it a crowded place or you can go and relax alone?

  • Thanks Manon. It’s a very windy road to the park so it never gets too busy & it takes a bit of a climb to get to this spot so it’s nice & quiet. A beautiful spot in a beautiful place.
    Thanks for the fave too.
