The ocean cruiser Rhapsody of the Seas dwarfs the overseas passenger terminal at Circular Quay & adds grandeur to an already colourful harbour scene Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background.

I liked the composition with the Opera House in the background but this one was more colourful.

Great composition MM … it was a beautiful day to be around the harbour and this really captures the magic. Love those flags and the lights.

  • Thanks Rosie. The flags worked well. Maybe I could have done a pano with the Opera House in there as well.

Huge ship. Such a shame I couldn’t make it today. Would have been good to meet. It looks like it was a successful day. :-)

  • Thanks Lorraine & thanks for the fave. Yep, a great day. Short but sweet. I had to pull out of Goulburn because of a nasty bug, so was determined to get to this one.

Great capture Michael. It really does show how massive the ship was against the harbour bridge. The flags are a great touch too. Really pleased to have finally met up with you, it was certainly a highlight to catch up with you and everyone else. Did you get a photo of the girl in the glass box???? I ended up over at the Botanical Gardens.

  • Thanks a lot Christina & thanks for the fave. Great to meet you too & a few others I kept missing. I gave the box girl a miss. Just a few of these shots before heading home. The light was a bit harsh for me. Another day …

impressive boat! I feel no attraction to be in a cruise. I prefer to be in nature all alone. nice shot Michael ;)

  • Thanks Manon. Me too .. but like you said, it’s impressive. Thanks for the fave.
