I couldn’t view this amazing cloud without thinking about the movie ‘Independence Day’.

Photographed with a Canon 400D from Randwick, Sydney, Australia leaning out of my window on the 5th floor looking towards the city.
If you lean further out you could see the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge but I didn’t want to do that with the camera in my hand. You need both hands to hold on.

I moved out of this place about 2 & a half years ago.

    Great shot Michael.

  • Thanks John. I saw some nice sunsets while I was there. Usually the buildings got in the way but if I stretched out the window I could see some of the city.
