After their intrepid adventure to the edge of Hanging Rock, one of the brave couple can be seen returning to the edge where they had a little lunch/picnic.

Yet another photo of my favourite Hanging Rock, this time showing more of the angular rocks leading to the Rock which continues to amaze me as to it’s evolution.

This is Hanging Rock near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains National Park in NSW, Australia.

This is not the Hanging Rock from the famous movie Picnic At Hanging Rock.
That one is in Victoria.

Photographed with a Canon 400D.

200 views as of July 26, 2012.

Country born & bred but now located in Sydney, Australia.

I’m fascinated by the beauty of nature & in particular Australian native flowers & landscapes. I also love colour & anything unusual.
The Blue Mountains are my favourite spot at the moment.

They must be mad! Great shot though Michael. I’ve seen your original one before.

  • Thanks Polly. Mad to us but maybe without the fear of falling, they were just thrill seekers.
    Thanks for the fave.

Great photo …. I bet you were waiting for that person to go back and stand on the edge … like the one with the couple sitting at the edge.

  • Thanks Christina. I was so freaked out by what was happening, I’m surprised I got any decent shots at all. Thanks for the fave.
