Dangar Falls in Dorrigo, northern New South Wales, Australia.

This photo was taken in 2006 with a Fuji FinepixF810 camera.
I went back 2 years later hoping to get a longer exposure with my Canon 400D (with silky waterflow) but the light was too bright, so I had to make do with doctoring this photo to make it more interesting.

I’ll have to get an ND filter for the next trip.

I love the patterns in the cliff at the edge of this waterfall.
There is a hint of a rainbow at the bottom of the falls as well.

Nice posi from that lookout..well done mate.

  • Thanks a lot mate. I’ve become so addicted to that silky waterflow that I had to think long & hard about this one but I love the colours & that cliff.

Lovely image Michael … So bizarre as I came across my file on these falls today while searching for something else … Must go back and compare … Mine was taken in rain but I’ve never put it on RB … Dorrigo would be a great spot for a RB Rumble.

  • Thanks Bev. It rains so much up there but I managed to visit in bright sunshine both times.
A fair way up for a RB Rumble. A good idea for you Hunter folk though.

  • Thanks Ross. I’m guessing they are a bit over 10 metres. Not huge but impressive.
