Photographed with a Canon 400D.
This is Bunyip Falls in the beautiful Lamington National Park in Queensland, Australia.
Bunyip Falls was the last in a series of beautiful waterfalls I saw on the Box Forest Circuit leading off the Main Border Track. Sections of the Main Border Track further along go across the NSW border.
As I walked this track I heard whipbirds, saw the Regent Bowerbird, Brush Turkeys, Eastern Yellow Robins & heard an abundance of Catbirds with a call that sounded to me like “How are ya ?” with an Aussie accent.
This is one of the best walks I have ever done.
The road to O’Reilly’s Guesthouse in the Lamington National Park is narrow & winding with many hairpins, blind curves & one lane sections but it is well worth visiting.
