Once again, a challenge to make a decent photo from a bright sunny day with dark shadows.
The valley is stunning but I challenge any photographer to depict it the way the eye sees it & marvels over it.
Nevertheless, this is an attempt to show this magnificent valley edged by Carrington Falls from a viewpoint too close to photograph without the aid of a wide lens or, as I have done, a photo stitch.
I took 3 vertical photos, adjusted the contrast for the vast differences in light & stitched them together.
Of course, it looks much better viewed larger.
This is Carrington Falls at the edge of Kangaroo Valley in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia.
I’m open to correction on whether this is geographically Kangaroo Valley or something else.
Islands, Islands, Islands, Oct 2011.
